
I’ve been messing around with Thumber and some old surf videos I made a few years back. I like the mosaic-style. These would be super cool as printed posters. It seems that the longer the movie is, the smaller the frames get and the more abstract the mosaic becomes.

Never heard of this before so thanks for posting.
Here is an idea. Shoot bazillion photos with high FPS on a DSLR, dump into PhotoShop’s animation filter to spit out a Quicktime vid and then upload to Thumber. Wait. Couldn’t I just create an automated contact sheet in PS that would do the same thing? Probably.
