Sunset Patrol

Back out to Holi for a sunset session last night, after recuperating from the morning. What could only be described as wind-blown, wedge-like conditions, river mouth run-off floating into the right-side break slamming into the main peak caused violent hell tubes. I waited for the wind to die down and just as it did, the sun fell below the horizon. Saving grace? good sunset photos.

The framing in #1 blows doors, Man! Not the greatest wave in the world. But between the sepias in the tone and the egg like framing of the surfer by the broken wave in front of him, a super nice shot.
