RIP – Alton Ellis

The Reggae world lost a true master on Friday. Alton Ellis, pioneer of the “Rocksteady” sound, was one of the oldest living reggae recording artists. Alton is survived by his twenty children.     Wow, I did not know he passed away. Jay Watson introduced me to Alton Ellis, and I’m so glad he did. That is so neat that you danced around to him when you were a little kid. Your parents must be really cool!
