Santos Surf Art logo by the insanely talented typographinarian Ben Waters
The Brazilian Santos Surf Festival is coming up in January, curated by Jair Bortoleto. The surt art portion of the festival is a cross-section of international artists working along surf culture’s dharmic glide lines. Jair has chosen some really great talent and he’s put together interviews with each, that make for pretty good reads. Two of my prints are included in the show and my interview went up on Santos site this past weekend. As usual my answers are overly long and slightly wandering, enjoy!
The show looks like it’s going to be amazing! I wish I could be there. Our seedling is due to be born in the days during the event, so a trip to Sao Paolo isn’t in the cards, but I’ll be there in spirit.
