These photos are from balsa bill first sales book when he went to work as a rep. for G & S in 1969. This was the transition era. They were making short boards from long board blanks.
The average board size coming out of the factory in the spring of ’69 was 7’2″
the place.. and people!
Born and raised on Oahu’s North Shore Kaimana shoots photos of his peeps and runs he greater than i. Very inspiring to see things unfold.
