Eric Cahan
a selection of work from Eric Cahan’s Sky Series 2011 and Sculptures 2011. Cahan follows the Light and Space Movement, “a brand of minimalism that originated in Southern California in the 1960s and focused on perceptual phenomena such as light, space, volume and scale”.
Cahan’s Sky Series captures sunrises and sunsets by various analog and digital cameras with graduated filters. His Sculpture series uses surfboard polyester resin to recreate the gradients found in his photographs in a three dimensional form. amazing work.
Cahan has a show open now called (appropriately enough) A-Frames, Wedges and Windows, at Tripoli Gallery in Southampton, NY. July 1st-25th.

Intersections
Intersections is a new and more abstract project about the power and beauty of the ocean from Alessandro Puccinelli, it’s still a work in progress.
