Newly Brace Free
Friday was a big day for this man. Friday I got my braces taken off. woo-hoo. 7 months almost to the day, I had braces put on my teeth, for structural reasons, you can read more about that here. So, Friday being the big day, the braces came off in the morning and in the afternoon my teeth were fixed. Chipped teeth and a gap or two were corrected. The wonders of modern dentistry. Overall, the braces and dental work cost me under $1500 USD. I’m not shitting you. Orthodontic work is super cheap in Mexico. And both the dentists and orthodontist gave me really good pricing, which I’m very thankful for. Even without special favors, this kind of dental work is insanely cheap compared to the states. I don’t even wanna think about what it would have cost in Los Angeles. It feels great not to have a bunch of metal and ceramics in my mouth and I can finally eat without having to use a freaking toothpick afterwards. yay me.
If you’re thinking about adult braces, the answer is yes. do it. but do it in mexico (or canada).
